Our collection of Tokoname ceramics are handcrafted by renowned artisans and are characterized by their modest perfection that does not go unnoticed. Elegant lines and simplicity typical of Japanese bonsai pots.

The city of Tokoname has a history and tradition of more than 1,000 years of producing very elegant and high-quality ceramics that are perfectly suited to the needs of bonsai.

Tokoname pots are produced by hand in the area surrounding Nagoya. This area is famous for the location of one of Japan's six ancient kilns. With a long tradition in pottery, they are especially renowned for their tea services and bonsai pots, which require delicacy and art.

To highlight the work of these artisan artists, the signature with the author's seal is stamped on the lower part of the pot.
