Juniperus Chinensis Itoigawa, also called Chinese Juniper Itoigawa, is a small variety of juniper from China that is very popular in the bonsai world. It differs from the common Chinese juniper in its slower growth and its fine, soft, light green foliage. The name comes from the mountainous region near the Japanese city of Itoigawa, where it originated.
