Liquidambar Bonsai 10 years. Sweetgum. They are trees that due to their nature must be placed outside, ideal for balconies, gardens and terraces. It is a half shade deciduous tree characterized by its woody trunk with large corky fissures. Its leaves, very similar to that of maples, are palmated and have between 5 and 7 lobes; they take on a reddish colouration in autumn. The little showy flowers give rise to the fruit in capsule, with a very characteristic spherical shape.

It is a half shade deciduous tree characterized by its woody trunk with large corky fissures. Location: It can be placed outdoors, exposed to full sun all year round. It is very resilient to hot and cold weather.
Watering: They support droughts well, despite this, give it moderate watering.
Curiosities: Both the scientific and common names refer to the sweet resinous sap (liquid amber) exuded by the trunk when cut.
