We must place them indoors, always close to a source of natural light. Evergreen bush. Liked for its small leaves and its plentiful purple flowers. Commonly they are known as cupheas, or, in the case of some species, as cigar plants.
Location: Outside in Mediterranean climates during the whole year with lots of sun. In winter protect against freezing.
Watering: Abundant in summer and in moderation in winter.
Curiosities: It’s a relative of Lagerstroemia. If you look at a thick trunk, you will see the same texture and after flaking off the bark also a smooth and shiny trunk.
