Leptospermum scoparium. Bonsai 8 years. Manuka or tea tree. Its main attraction are its small red, pink, white, orange or violet flowers. The old appearance of its wood is also outstanding.

Location: In Mediterranean climates, place it outdoors, in full sun all year round. In colder areas, indoors.

Watering: Abundant in summer, moderate in winter.

Curiosities: The genus Leptospermum belongs to the Myrtaceae family and consists of more than 80 species of shrubs native to Oceania and Indonesia.
