Location: Outside in Mediterranean climates during the whole year with lots of sun. In colder zones, it is preferable to protect against the cold and frost.

Watering: Abundant in summer and moderated in winter.

Curiosities: The Podocarpus is a conifer from tropical and subtropical regions. It is also known by the name of buddhist’s pine. In the female podocarpus, the colours of the receptacle which supports the fruits are spectacular: they are from red to purple going through to oranges and violet.

Dimensions in centimetres approx. (width x depth x height): 24 x 17 x 31

Note: The shape and measurements of the bonsais are approximate. The pot is included on the dimensions. The colour and shape of the pot may vary from that of the photo. A bonsai is a living being, so the vegetative state of the plant changes according to the season. The images that appear are non-binding illustrative pictures.
