Leptospermum scoparium. Bonsai 10 years. Manuka or tea tree. Commonly called manuka, New Zealand teatree, broom tea-tree, or just tea tree, is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family Myrtaceae, native to south-east Australia and New Zealand.
Location: They should be placed outside, in full sun or semi-shade in mediterranean areas.
Watering: Generously in summer and decreasing in winter.
Curiosities: The genus Leptospermum belongs to the Myrtaceae family and consists of more than 80 species of shrubs native to Oceania and Indonesia.
