Introductory re-potting Pack

Introductory re-potting Pack. New to re-potting bonsais ? In Mistral Bonsai we have prepared a pack with all the most essential tools and products to enable you to carry out this task comfortably.

The pack includes:

• TERRABONSAI substrate 1.5 l. It is a homogeneous mixture of blond peat, volcanic clay and Akadama that results in a substrate with unique characteristics. It is a substrate in which the bonsais can be easily cultivated, the proportion of peat that it contains allows to space the waterings and also effectively retains the mineral fertilisers.

• VITABONSAI Invigorating 30 cc. Restorative product that allows the quick recovery of weak bonsais after re-potting, by supporting the rooting process. Organo-mineral product that contains all the necessary ingredients for a weak or sick bonsai to recover. Easy to apply: dissolved in the irrigation water.

• Chopsticks (pair). Chopsticks to work the soil during repotting. These chopsticks are used to gently move the soil, ensuring that no air spaces are left between the roots.

• Aluminum wire 1.5 mm 100 gr. To maintain the tree while re-potting, and to fix the grids in the pot. Aluminium wire is also used to shape the fine branches of bonsais. The aluminium wire is very malleable, thus facilitating the work.

• Rake / Tweezers 220 mm. This tool is used to comb the roots during repotting, but is also very useful for removing unwanted weeds that grow in the pots. With the rake we can comb the roots reducing the risk of breaking them. The tweezers are very practical for pulling up difficult weeds that grow next to the trunk. Since they are made of stainless steel, they hold up well even when working in the ground.

• Grids 35x35 mm (5 units). So the substrate does not fall through the holes at the bottom of the pot. These grids are very resistant and well suited to the pot holes. These can be fixed to the pot with a loop of aluminum wire.
